Two special cards...

I recently made and sent cards to these two fine American Heroes:

PFC Hunter Levine is 20 years old and hails from Houston, TX. He was wounded in May 2008 while conducting combat operations in East Baghdad. He received a very serious injury to his face, resulting in the loss of his entire bone structure, mouth, nose, and vision. He was evacuated to Walter Reed Hospital where the Doctors performed numerous surgeries to repair his face and has bee transferred to a VA hospital in Palo Alto, where the best care for his vision would be available.

Lt. Col Ty Edwards Ty was with a group in Afganistan that was attacked. Being the brave leader he is, Ty was the first on the ground commanding his soldiers when an enemy bullet managed to hit his head (despite the fact he was wearing a helmet). Ty was in a very remote, mountainous area, but they were able to get him to a hospital quickly. We understand that Ty was cared for by some of the best neurosurgeons in the world. He is still in a coma, but was stable enough to be transported to Germany, then to Bethesda, MD.

Please remember Ty, Hunter and all our dedicated and brave heroes in your prayers.
